Hi, I'm Angel — an engineering student at UofT who deeply cares about creating impact within my community with empathy, innovation & leadership.
I'm a Lester B. Pearson Scholar, studying Industrial Engineering with minors in AI Engineering and Engineering Business. I approach every problem as a systems thinker who keeps the human experience at the center.
My Journey
Early Days
Born & raised with curiosity, basketball, and a love of figuring out how things work.
High School
Did every extracurricular possible. Discovered I'm a community builder, not just a student.
2021
Named one of 37 Lester B. Pearson Scholars worldwide. Completely changed my life. Moved to Toronto.
2022
Completed first year in Engineering Science at UofT. Fell in love with Toronto.
2023
Joined Transform HF (UHN) as a Healthcare UX Research Fellow. First big design research project.
2024
Solo-traveled to Peru. Joined AMD as a Software PM Co-op. Published UX research at HCI International.
2025
Co-chairing Pearson Social Committee. Building this portfolio. Graduating June 2026.
